We engage student teams from around the world by challenging them to find innovative solutions to real-world issues. Our Innovation contests incent students to unlock their hidden potential to do great things.

GIGAprize operates under 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All of our programs are free to students, thanks to our generous supporters.

Innovation Genius Award

The GIGAprize Innovation Award program challenges teams to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. Teams are presented with a general topic area and can decide on where they want to focus their talents. The solutions are judged on their creativity and impact under a detailed rubric.

Awareness & Impact Genius Award

We realize that technological innovation isn’t very valuable if it isn’t widely understood and adopted. The Awareness & Impact Genius Award challenges teams to develop and implement an awareness campaign focused on an impactful issue facing society.

The Innovation Showcase

The Innovation Showcase gives GIGAprize teams the opportunity to present their work as well as learn from other teams and industry professionals. College admissions counselors and early-stage venture capital investors will come to see who has the right stuff. Think science fair, TED Talk, college fair, and venture forum all in one event.
